So i decided it was time to give the old home server a refresh since it was getting old and clunky.
So a brief overview of the hardware.
CPU: Amd Athlon 6000+ x2 @ 3.0ghz
MOBO: Gigabyte GA MA 770 DS3
RAM: 4GB
I just finished backing and organizing the files onto disks and am proceeding to wipe it with a fresh copy of windows. the VMWare VSphere Hypervisor downloads are almost finished.
I am looking forward to setting up a small network running a few linux machines to do some online indexing, crawling, downloading, file sharing and home media serving but im sick of my windows host getting full of crap
So! is the answer to virtualize, we will soon find out!
